TUA Signs MOU with Royal University of Agriculture of Cambodia
The Tokyo University of Agriculture University inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) of Cambodia on 1 April 2011. The latter is TUA’s 21st partner university.
Under the consortium of TUA and the Institute of Environment Rehabilitation and Conservation (ERECON), the Cambodian University will implement the JICA Grass Roots Project in Cambodia’s Kampong Cham province for five years, from 2011 to 2016, with a total budget of around one hundred million yen.
Given the number of different learning and research fields available for young scholars in Cambodia, this collaboration with the RUA hopes to advance TUA’s objective of providing ”Practical Education” to its students. (Anne Victoria L. Alcala)
