Strategic Strength
Today UBC is becoming new again, responding to the changes occurring around us in society, through the university’s vision for the 21 st century, Trek 2010. Under the aegis of Trek, the university has reorganized its goals and priorities around five key areas: people, learning, research, community, and internationalization. Significant progress has been made in achieving these goals.
The University of British Columbia is well placed to take a leading role in the growth and change occurring in our society. We have great strengths in the excellence of our faculty and their research achievements, in the quality of our students, and in the dedication of our staff. We are strong also thanks to growing endowments and a truly magnificent campus.
